    3. Hi Debra: I too sent in money for the subject book and to date have not received it. However, I contacted Olivia Walker Mullis, the book owner who was going to republish it. She has had some problems in doing so. She did, however, send me a CD of the book. You can contact her at >olivia@biinternet.net < she is a very nice person and will help you I feel sure. All of this situation at OHGS has been brought about because of Linda Angels very poor health in recent months. We all pray that she gets better soon! 3. Listers, I had e-mailed Linda quite awhile ago about the Littleberry Walker book and I NEVER received an answer from her about the book. I did not receive any issues of the HOOT OWL EXPRESS for the 2000-2001 year either. I did receive the issues for last year 1999-2000. What is the status of all of the books and items that were donated to the OHGS?? I donated a book that no one had heard of and wonder what happened to it. Where is Linda Angell ? Does anyone have her address? I would like to write to her and see how she is. When I visited the OHGS library almost two years ago I could only stay in there for about 10 minutes as I could hardly breath. I could tell that there was a mold and mildew problem. I saw mold on many of the books and papers. My kids started to wheeze and have difficulty breathing. I hope that the books and other items can be salvaged. It would be a tragedy to loose all of that valuable information. LINDA C

    1. [GAWARE] Badtrans Removal Tool
    2. Hi All, I have recently received two email that I believe were virus infected. Thanks for the explanation Ray. I didn't know how it worked until you explained, which also prompted me to do some follow-up research. On the Symantec web site I discovered a removal tool for the virus. It didn't cost me anything to download. It took less than ten minutes to download the tool (and I have an old computer and a slow modem). It also took less than ten minutes for it to sweep through my computer and tell me that the virus was not found on my computer. After reading various articles on the internet I found that you don't have to open an attachment to get this virus. So, I have decided to share the web site with the list and hope that this will help anyone who suspects that they may be infected. 3. Hello GAWARE, I guess it's virus season at GAWARE again. Someone reported recieving a Badtrans message from me this week. I have updated my anti-virus and it says I'm clean. I hope you all understand how the Badtrans virus works. It uses the names in unopened e-mail to recreate itself. So the name on the e-mail you get is not the person who sent it. This is very annoying. But it seems to be something we have to deal with if we want to continue to exchange information with one another. I was hit by the badtrans virus last spring. Its no fun. In fact it's scarey. Try to protect yourselves. Backup your files and update your antivirus. Don't open mail or attachments from people you don't know. Pay attention when warnings are posted. Don't give up or blame GAWARE. Be proud of your family trees and share them with us. Let's enjoy the holidays and celebrate the season.
