Dear GAWARE List Members, I have been having some serious mail problems. This is somewhat of a test, to see if my mail will now make it to the list. I have been having problems with my mail not being sent correctly to RootsWeb Lists for several months now. Some 'weird thing' concerning my ISP's mail server not sending it to the correct place. Some of you may already be aware of the information below, but for those who haven't yet heard, thought they might like to read the article. I tried to send this before Christmas along with a "Merry Christmas", but it didn't make it. So now I will say I hope you are all safe and well. I wish for each of you a very Happy New Year. Enjoy it in good health and peace. Sharon Driver Wright shadri@perry.gulfnet.com The message below is important to genealogy because we cannot access the BLM website now. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,40340,00.html They, along with the entire network of Web sites operated by the U.S. Department of Interior, were inaccessible Friday following an order by a U.S. District judge who feared flimsy security might have contributed to the loss of billions of Native American Indian trust monies.

Hello Everyone, I have been off the list for some time when the virus was going around. Thought I would try coming back since it seems the worst is over. I had some great luck with folks on this list helping me before. Can some kind person who has the 1880 census CD please check for John Joseph Everett/Everitt with wife Frances ( Mock ). Last known to be in Clinch County where they married 1871, but died in Polk County, Florida and may have been from Screven or Effingham County. I think there is a relationship or could be with this John Everitt/Everett and John Everett who married Carrie V Mock in Waycross 17 March 1898. I think Carrie was the niece of Frances. This look-up would be so much appreciated. Thank you so much. Sharon Sharon and Alex Davis Shady Acres Goat Farm Pine Mt. Ga 31822 sadav43@earthlink.net Kiko Goats

Lived in Appling County Ga. 1880 cenus. He seemed to have dropped out of the sky into Appling County. He must of had some reason to be in this area, maybe other kin folks. The 1880 cenus shows him being born in NC. They also show his name as John D. that's wrong, his name was John R., He married Adaline Leggett of Appling County in 1878. They show in the 1890 cenus, then in 1900 Adaline shows as a widow. Not sure what happen to him or where he is buried. If any of this rings a bell or if you have any thoughts please send info. Thank you J. Wayne Stewart
