    3. Christi, I posted a link for photos of the names in question. This one is indexed, but only for the surnames. Okay, remember I started on page 100. The Hersey younguns in question are in dwelling #212. The Bagely was HH in dwelling #221 To see a photo of the names look right here: http://www.geocities.com/shezzybug/1850.html Sharon ==================== Sharon If it is a Head of Household, I may be able to help. If you tell me something about how you think it is spelled and the page number, I can look on the index (which of course it took me doing 4 pages before I realized I could do this). Also, if I just cannot make it out, I put a question mark. Like you said, some are too light to even guess. There have been a few that I thought I could figure out (like Henry) but it was a female; therefore, the question mark went up. I think if we can't figure it out, it is best to let someone else tell us then to guess. Not to say that mine are all correct (I know they are not). I just think we just have to do the best we can with what we have to work with. Christi

    3. http://www.geocities.com/shezzybug/1850.html Thank you Rachel. I appreciate your help. I did think it looked 'something like' Margaret. I am SO afraid I'll put the wrong thing down, and have someone on a wild goose chase for an ancestor. Don't want that to happen if possible. I've added a couple more. Hate those pop-up adds too. Fixin' to move my site to one without them. Sharon ========================== >Rachel wrote: They both look like Margaret to me.<

    3. http://www.geocities.com/shezzybug/1850.html Dear List Members, My 1850 Census of Ware came in the mail this afternoon. Please if you have a few minutes, would you look at the two names from the 1850 Ware Census on the link above? They are living next door to each other, one in the HERSEY household, one in the TAYLOR household. They are both 8 year old females. What do the names look like to you? Some of this Census is so light it is hard to see at all. Thank you List. Probably will be some more later, so I will just keep this link and add the ones I need help with. <VBG> Sharon

    2. Christi, Hope everyone appreciates the effort and time you are putting into copying the census. Although I already have the info printed out from Ancestry.com (the actual pages) of the pages shown today you have saved me a good deal of eyestrain. Two of my greatgreat grandparents (Albritton and Griffin) were listed plus other related family. You deserve many thanks. Doris Albritton Smith
