    3. I just subscribed to ancestry with images. Could those of you who are working on the 1850 transcription tell me what pages I can help with - or would it be better for me to start on 1870, if that one isn't done yet? Ready to start..... Cathy

    3. Shadi: There is an old Sharpe Cemetery over in Carroll Co. GA. It is very old and no longer used. It shows up listed in a book in the Carrollton, GA Library. 3. >Okay, you are not going to believe this, but every name is listed on Ancestry's HH search for page 100 except the Hersey and Bagley in question. On #221, it appears to be William Bagley, looking at my census. The first two females you pasted look like Margaret, the other male and female - I have no clue (the girl's name looks like Olvay-never heard of it though). Christi< Hehehehehe! Oh yeah, DO believe it. They didn't know it either! Funny thing is, we ALL saw each of the names the exact same ways. That made me feel a little better, knowing it WAS difficult to decipher. Thought for a while I had taken on something beyond me. Still may be true, but am going to give it my heart and treat each family like it was my own. I may end up with a lot of question marks. ;-) "Thank You" to EACH of you who helped! May have to call on you some more. We can truly say this is a group effort anyhow. Wish we could all sit down with some coffee or tea, or icewater? and look at this together, that would be fun. Thanks again. Sharon

On #221, it appears to be William Bagley, looking at my census. The first two females you pasted look like Margaret, the other male and female - I have no clue (the girl's name looks like Olvay-never heard of it though). I think that if we just can't make it out, put a question mark. There have been names like I thought were Henry and it indicated that the person was female; therefore, I was not very sure, so the question mark went up after the H. Some names are just impossible to read. I have even gone to look at the 1860 census to see if I could find that person and read the name, but many times they are no longer in the area or I just can't find them. I think we just have to do the best we can. Christi

Looks like the way I make my T's with the little slant at the bottom of the T. I know that there was a lot of Margaret's in the Taylor family. Joyce
