Hi Carol, The 360 is the dwelling number in the order visited during the census. When you see 2 numbers, it is dwelling number then family number. I think on some census counts, if more than one family was together, they each were counted. The 1500 is the value of the real estate owned. House Number 360 in the Census takers district for example. The 1500 in the example above is the value of the real estate owned by the individual. Hope this helps. Sharon

My husbands mother was Ruby Marie Sullivan from St. Helena Parish, grew up in Tangipahoa Parish, married Roy Henderson, Sr. Her father was William Hosey Sullivan, born Dec. 15, 1880 in East Baton Rouge Parish, his father was Lafferty Stevens Sullivan married Sairney Francis Jones. That is all the information I have on them. I am looking for information on Elihue Henderson, born abt. 1790, died 1844, East Feliciana Parish. Married first a Raby , then in 1825 married Joanna Pender. Their son was Middleton Gadson Henderson, born 1830. Please let me hear from you if any of this fits in your line.
