Burial will be held in Kettle Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 o'clock  Friday evening at Music Funeral Home.

Waycross Journal-Herald, Friday, February 2, 2002: RONALD WAYNE CHANCEY BLACKSHEAR--The funeral for Mr. Ronald Wayne Chancey, 37, of Offerman,will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Patterson Assembly of God with burial in the Offerman Cemetery. There will be visitation tonight from 7 until 9 o'clock at Smith Funeral Home in Blackshear. He was a carpenter and a lifelong resident of Offerman. He died Wednesday morning (Jan. 30, 2002) in an automobile accident in Pierce county. His grandparents were the late Ada K. and Edward Wainwright and the late Willie and Bill Chancey. He is survived by a son, Tyler Wayne chancey of New Cumberland, Pa.; his mother, Mary Wanda Faye of New Cumberland; his father, Edward Chancey Sr. of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a sister, Anita Strickland Reisman (husband David) of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; four brothers, Edward Chancey Jr. (wife Janice) of Belvedere, S.C., Stan Kimbrel (wife Cindy) of Offerman and Russell Chancey and Bobby Chancey, both of West Palm Beach; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. NOTE: Mr. Chancey's nephew, David Earl Kimbrel, was also killed in the accident. Monday, February 4, 2002: MR. RONALD CHANCEY, MR.
