Hi all, I have 8 yes votes, with 8 buyers, & 1 no vote (until more is learned). Let me try to clarify our project some more. The USGENWEB project will get the CD to put online. They have all the copyright permission, etc. for this project. We can transcribe the census from online, OR we can buy film, or CD, or whatever we want. If you want a CD of your own, you can sign up on the wait list at http://www.skpub.com/genie/censuscd/ga.html or write to: genie@skpub.com What we are voting on is whether to go forward with this project. The votes that came in to me were 100% for me to collect the monies, & when I get enough for 1 census, then I'll buy it (for the whole group), & USGENWEB puts it online. In order to start the project, I'm trying to get at least 35 folks to vote yes for it, & at least 25 that say they will donate to it. If we go as a group, some can donate $1, $5, $100, or whatever they feel they can spare. That's why I say, WHEN we have enough for one census, I'll buy one, enough for another, then I'll buy another year, & so on. If we go on the wait list, the minimum is $20.
