I have written in beside Mama Walton's queries below a bit of info on these cemeteries. I really would MUCH prefer to not give these tidbits piecemeal, but wait until our locator project is over, and give one and all "the whole nine yards". So, I will opt out on further piecemeal replies unless someone plans to visit the County and wants specifics for a specific, if you follow me. Will be happy to give those individually. The entrance is across the street from the First Methodist Church, in beautiful downtown Monroe near CVS, and on Monroe-Jersey Road. > Barrett-Hanson Cemetery--Same as Kelly Cemetery, Monroe, GA> 334558N833801W, Harmony Church Road. > Barton-Edwards Cemetery--The present owner of the land will not admit there is a cemetery there! It's on US78, on the south side of the highway, about 200 yards before the highway crsses the Alcovy River , and an undetermined number of yards south of the highway. > This is all the info I have on the above.
