Thelma, I am interested in your GUNTER line. You are the first to post in Walton Co. on this surname since I subscribed to this list. I am not positive that my Gunter line connects with yours, but it is a possibility. I have info from another source which places my Gunter line in Walton Co. for a period of time. Some of the first names associated with my Gunters during the time they were to have been in Walton Co. are Isham (which you mentioned), John M. and James. Do you know if your Gunters came from NC prior to GA? There is another line of Gunter's from SC to GA. They may connect somehow, but so far I haven't connected them and my line originates from NC as far back as I've managed to get. Any insight or info appreciated.
