I know that I am LATE sending this in but have been out-of-town. We are researching the ROYAL and FORRESTER surnames (have found many different spellings of these names). Thomas Forrester was born in NC and moved to Walton Co. by early 1830's. He was married to Elizabeth..... ROYAL? We are looking for documentation to determine that her maiden name was indeed Royal. We know that she was living with daughter and son-in-law, John and Melly Ellender Forrester Austin, in 1850 Walton Co.,GA. On the 1850 census she is shown with them and listed as being 90 years old, born in NC. Thomas and Elizabeth were married by 1790 and had eight children born in SC and GA. We are interested in anything on their parents, children and descendents. If anyone has information on this family, please get in touch with us. We have quite a bit of information to share.
