It has meant a great deal to me to read the tributes to some of the mothers of this group; I wish I could write a tribute to mine, for she is one of the many mothers who has lived her life for her family. She is 84 years old, and in the hospital. She has been in failing health since November, and whether or not she will be able to have more time with us is in the Lord's hands. Her mind is clear, and she is ready to go if called, but we can hardly bear to think of it. Perhaps later I can try to tell you how much she loved us all -- loves us still -- how she worked for us, and how much we love her. Probably each of you knows from his or her own experience what I am feeling at this time. Each of you will understand why I can't take the time to write more but am on my way back to the hospital.
