    3. Walter, you are correct regarding the break in the Methodist Episcopal Church North/South. The Bishop was James O. Andrew b. 1794 and died 1871 who was bishop from 1832 until his death. The slave was Kitty Andrew Shell who was born in 1822 and died in 185?. Interestingly, Kitty Andrew Shell is buried in the family lot of the Andrews family in the Oxford Historical Cemetery in Oxford, Ga. Just a few miles from Monroe. The exact year of death is not clear and if anyone might have information regarding that date I would love to know. BTW: Any Stones from Walton County out there? Nancy (Stone) Brown
