Also remember that I do NOT enter your info without your permission first! Is there anything further that we need to discuss on Our Cemetery project???? If you know of an ancestor that is buried in Walton Co., even if you're not sure of where, please submit your info! There is now a place on Our web site for this info too. http://www.rootsweb.com/~gawalton/ We now have about 150 subscribers. We've had 15-20 new subscribers join us in Dec. We welcome you all, & look forward to reading your queries & such. Please take time to introduce yourselves, & include the info you're looking for. We need to include all your info too, especially in these areas: 1) Cemeteries--who & where are your ancestors buried? 2) Do you have a web page? Is this for Walton Co. families, or just a personal page? We can add these to Gen-Kids home pages. 3) Veterans--Do you have a veteran that once lived in Walton Co? It doesn't matter what war. You can type your own bio, or send your info to me & I'll type something, BUT it's much better from you! 4) Surnames--What are your Walton Co. surnames? 5) Marriages--Do you know of an ancestor that married in Walton Co? 6) For Sale--Do you have something, or a service that involves GA? This would be a good place to advertise your items/services. 7) Look-ups--Can you provide a look-up service through a book, library, cemetery, census, etc.? 8) County Resources--Do you know of a county resource of help to researchers that is not included in this section? 9) Have I forgotten a Populated Place, Cemetery, anything that needs to be included? Our web site is only as good as the info we include. Please --if you have info send it! In the next few weeks we'll get started on our "census chat" again, so be thinking what we want to do, & how we want to "finance" this. Ray, have you found the help you needed in transcribing the census? I'll be able to get to the library tomorrow??? & could probably look for you. Let me know! Another reminder about the GenConnect boards--they are all ours now!!! These include: queries, Bible records, bios, deeds, obits, pensions, & wills. If you have something in these areas to submit, then go to Our web page, & click on one of the squares. We are also now listed on the USGenWeb page! Progress has been slow, BUT we're getting there.
