Has anyone used or seen mircrofilm from http://www.loring.allencc.com/ or www.heritagequest.com If so which do you like best, etc? I was thinking about getting my own microfilm reader, & all the films for years 1820, 1840, 1860-1920, & 1850 & 1860 Slave schedules. Does anyone know if there is useful info on the Slave schedules? I have volunteered for the 1840 census transcription, BUT don't know what I'm getting into?? Can someone fill us in on what is involved with transcribing a census?
