Jane, Which Ezell line are you researching? Nancy Ezell, born 1838, died 1909 married my James H. GARNER and they are in the Paulding county 1850 census. I can't yet prove her parentage, but believe she was the daughter of William Ezell, born 1810, married to Louisa or Lucy. Their children were John Christopher (who married James GARNER's sister) Lewis Henry, William, Susannah and Francis. Any connections?
