I found her on the 1870 & 1880 Walker Co., GA census living with her mother Millie G. ALLEN, brother John and sister Sarah E. James Allison BEARDEN deserted Harriett and their seven children. In 1904, she and the children moved to Columbia Co., Arkansas: Joseph Luther BEARDEN, 'Roland' Lee Rollen BEARDEN (my grfa), William Clifford BEARDEN, Mary Lelia BEARDEN, Tee Owen BEARDEN, Lobelia/Lorena BEARDEN, and Hattie BEARDEN.
