I'm researching Cary JACKSON b c1794 SC m Patsy b c1798 SC children: Martha b c1831, James b c 1835 and Lydia Elizabeth b Sep 1838 and probably more that I haven't found. John GILLEAN/GILLIAN b 1813/14 Ga m Sarah "Sally" DYER b 1815 Tn/Ky children: Marion Asbury, John Houston, James Monroe, Hiram Archie, William Elliot, Sarah Angeline, Pleasant Taylor "Doc", Virgel Jerome, Exer, Jefferson and Martha Ann. Some of these families moved to mid western Arkansas and Texas about 1876, however some stayed in Walker County. We have a great deal of information on the families that moved to Arkansas and Texas but are sadly lacking on those left behind. WHITE - BELL - MOORE -EVITT/EVATT - These are some of the surnames I am working on. Also - found a photo of an older lady, with a very long dress on, standing in a flower garden. Written on it is: "Aunt Bettye" and on the top is written "Aunt Ruby's mother". The Aunt Ruby is probably the Ruby who married Robert Cleveland 'Cleve' Bell, son of Franklin Bell and Sarah Elizabeth Moore. Cleve was born 1884, but I have no further info on his wife Ruby. Bonnie
