Hello Listmembers, I am working on the family of CLECKLER and THOMPSON in Walker and Whitfield co., Ga. Walter C. Cleckler, was a Dalton sheriff and policeman and is buried in Westhill. He married Eula Mae Thompson abt. 1918 (I need marriage cert.) who's father was W. Sam Thompson who was a merchant in Whitfield co. Sam was married three times to Mollie Townsend, Mary Campbell, and Mary Wood. I have a photo of their grocery wagon pulled by a horse. My uncle Walter (Bub) Jr. was the town barber for years. Thanks.
