There is an index, but it's not that good. I looked up three people that I knew were in the book, but they weren't in the index. I looked ONE page at a time to find the names I needed. I ordered the book from Walker Co. If you decide you want to purchase, you can do that AFTER I look. I only have Volume l, South Walker Co., but I've ordered the second volume. I WILL look for Youngblood & let you know what I find.
