I am going to jump in here about the Wallen family. I am not sure that this has been covered. I have information about John Wallen's first wife. In Washington County, 1777-1870, there are several paragraphs about the killing. Also, I was able to find the a copy of the original report. There also is a mention of of Tom Wallen being shot (not at the same time) during this time frame. If anybody is interested, let me know. Also, the information that I understand from this reading this list that was written by a relative about the Wallen family was actually published in part in the Chatta. Times and I will try to find my copy if anybody is interested. I am a ggggrandchild of John and Elizabeth Roberts Walling. I would love to share information with other relatives.
