Hey Sheila, I got my copy from a gentleman who lives in Chattanooga somewhere........and I honestly do not know where he got it. The one thing that is so so very important about his writings is that he did know that we came from William and that William's mother was scalped and murdered by the Indians. He in a sense gave us the one most important clue to our line so please do not think I was insulting his writings, God Bless him he sounded like a wonderful person! I actually cherish my copy Sweety. The other thing that I got from someone lately is that William and his brother Elisha's mother was not a Roberts but possibly a Hale? I will find that email and forward it to you so you can read it too. I would love for us to get together sometime and talk. I have my Great Aunt Leota Wallin Hixson visiting this week. She is the Great Granddaughter to Campbell Wallen! Maybe I can get some more info out of her and ask her about your Grandfather and G.
