Linda Sue, I'm getting confused... too many people related to the Wallen/Wallin/Walden/Walling family lol! Did I send you my typed copy of my gr-granddaddy's journal (with the deleted section that was totally WRONG)? I also have an update that I typed of our family which you might like to have. Let me know if I sent it. I'm interested in hearing about your visit w/your Wallin/Hixson relative.... I'd LOVE to meet her. I LOVE old people... my grandmother (Taylor Walden's daughter) died Jan. 2000... she was the most WONDERFUL lady, fully of fun & knowledge.... she was the joy of our lives! The stories she could tell! lol.... I have typed some of them in my book to pass on. Anyway... let me know of your visit... & if she remembered Taylor Walden & his family. They moved from the Cove to Chattanooga near the time that Taylor Walden wrote his journal, but perhaps she remembers some of his family. Sheila :)
