Found my gggrandfather, John D. Jackson married to Amanda (Manda) on the 1850 census of Walker County, GA. Is James Jackson married to Lanz Parilla Dewinsberry his parents? (Amanda was daughter of Bird Cannon (can't locate his parents either) and Lucinda Morgan, daughter of John Morgan all from Walker County. Martha J. Jackson, daughter of James and Lanz Parilla Jackson later married John Bush Morgan.) Or is Moses Jackson married to Rebecca his (John D.) parents? All are listed next to each other on the census. Chatooga Valley District. According to their ages, Moses 77, James 53 and John D 24, I am assuming that James is the father and Moses is the grandfather. Can anyone set me straight? Any help appreciated on this family.
