When the gov't started closing the different post offices here on Lookout Mountain which included Pittsburg, Ascalon, Dillon, etc., the mail was finally routed through the Rising Fawn Post office. And it is still routed that way today. People up here on the mountain are from 10 to 25 miles from the Rising Fawn P.O. Rising Fawn is in Dade County in the valley at the western foot of Lookout Mountain approximately 8/9 miles south of Trenton. I wish we could get our own Post Office here on the mountain once again.
