Rowland. and also of Alice Cothran, Anna Cothran, and also Martha Garnish: Their grandmother was Dovie Martin who married Stephen Pace. Dovie's father was Joseph Martin, who was a son to John Martin. Anna's letter to the commission stated that Joseph lived on Chickamauga Creek in Georgia. I have no further info on them. I tie to a Tennessee Martin line and had this in my files, showing it came from Shirley Hoskins' book. Cherokee Blood, Vol. I. Don't know if this will help or hinder.
