Shelia, thanks for the help I really appreciate it my William Barnett also went by the name of Albert William Barnett; one document has his name one way another the other way. Albert William was supposedly killed in a hunting accident but family members state the KKK killed him because he was a drinker, did not live a Christian life and did not care for his family properly. My mother was almost certain he was killed in Lafayette GA and since I have found it was in Lafayette that his youngest child was born, Rubye Barnett, she was born in 1926. William Barnett was my grandmother's 3rd husband, Gracie M. Harris was by my grandmother's first husband. Gracie had here appendix out when she was 14 or 16 and died afterward. Gracie would have been 14 in 1924 and 16 in 1926 that is why I figure she too is buried in Lafayette GA. thanks ever so much Jackie
