There were none in Dade County except for a doctor's office. Most seriously ill would have been sent to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. I'm not sure when Tri-County Hospital in Fort Oglethorpe was organized... either the 1920's or 30's. Now it is Tri-County d/b/a Hutcheson Medical Center. I think there was a clinic in LaFayette and a couple more hospitals in Chattanooga. I don't know about Marion Co.
