Ladye, those records are almost all transcribed. However, because of privacy to living people they are not being put online or in book form. I know they are public records but still people deserve some privacy. To answer your questions... the Walker County marriage books are located in the probate office (ground floor) of the courthouse on north Duke St in LaFayette. There are two motels in LaFayette, Key West Inn and Days Inn. Days Inn is the newer of the two and they are located side by side.
