CICERO G. BAILEY b. 1910 ga, was my grandfather. his parents were EDGAR MORRIS BAILEY b. 1889 in walker county and+ LILLIE OPHELLI CORDLE b. 1890 chatrtooga county. They also had several other children: HENRY M. BAILEY b.1818, RICHARD M b.1922, CORA MAE BAILEY b. 1925, BETHEL "BILL" BAILEY b. 1926 and MARTHA FRANCIS b.1928. EDGAR'S parents were JAMES BAILEY b.abt 1856 m.MARTHA C-?- b.abt 1852 they also had another son WILLIAM A. BAILEY b.1902 I find them in Walker county.West Armurchee dist in1900. JAMES BAILEYS parents are WILLIAM BAILEYb.abt.1830 IN GA, AND SARAH -?- b.abt.1824 IN S.C.as per their ages in the 1860 census. Their other children listed in the 1860 walker county census are: MARY J.BAILEY 8, LOUISA E.BAILEY 7, GEORGE W. BAILEY 3 AND JESSE F.BAILEY 6/12 By the 1870 census the are living in FRICKS GAP, WALKER COUNTY, GEORGIA with an addition of two more children, JOHN W.BAILEY 7, and THOMAS BAILEY 4f WILLIAM BAILEY b. abt.1830 in Georgia is as far back as I can get as both of his parents were born in S.C. They wed Oct 6, 1841 Fayette Co GA, Book 8, pg 179.
