Cece, There were only five burial listed in the index for the surname BUNCH. Three of them were in Wood Station which is way north east of McLemore Cove and one at Center Post. The third name was listed in the old Clarkson Cemetery (a small family cemetery is the upper McLemore Cove area. THe name on the tombstone was Charles Clarkson, son of William W. Clarkson and Ege BUNCH Clarkson November 6, 1862 - July 27, 1864 1 yr and 8 mos old There are many unmarked graves in both Antioch and Old Antioch as well as all of the other cemeteries in the county. What are the first names on your BUNCH ancestors? In James A. Sartain HISTORY OF WALKER COUNTY GA there is a mention of J.M.; James; Jim; and W.C. There was no mention of either BENGE or TYGART in Sartain's book OR either of the Walker Co cemetery books. The Benge name was in early Dade County while Dade was still a part of Walker County.
