Am looking for any information on George Washington Green b.abt. 1806 S.C. and his wife Lucinda ??? could be (Lucinda Melinda ???) b. abt 1808-1810 S. C.. They are listed in the Walker Co., Ga. 1850 and 1860 census, and Whitfield Co., Ga. 1870 census. Both are listed born in South Carolina, but I haven't been able to fine where. Children of George W. and Lucinda are: Garland D.S. b. Oct. 5, 1826 S.C. m. Mary Jane McKinney Mar. 3, 1863 in Pickins Co., Ga. d. Sep. 29, 1874 in Pickins Co. Mary Jane b. July 16, 1830 in S.C. d. Mar. 2, 1916 in Pickins Co. Eliza Ann b Feb. 12, 1828 S.C. Charlotte Jane b. Feb. 5, 1830 S.C. m. William Allen Rivers, I have been told they went to Azle Tarrant Co., Texas. Margaret F. b. Sep. 25, 1832 S.C.*, still at home in 1870 census age 38. Malissa b. June 26, 1833 S.C.*, still at home in 1870 census age36 Martha M. b. June 25, 1835 S.C. Mary b. Apr. 25, 1837 S.C. m. Isaac Pickney Hubbard, they left Ga. and in 1880 are in the Hempstead Co., Arkansas census. Jackson L. May 4, 1839 S.C. died young Vanburan b. June 27, 1841 S.C. died young Harriet b. Aug. 8, 1843 S.C.*, still at home in 1870 census age 34 Sarah Angeline b. Mar. 12, 1847 S.C.
