I know that my Wallin string in Walker County GA where Methodist. My Grandmother told me that her mother was of Baptist faith as had been all the Parrish for some time but her father Julius Wallin was raised Methodist and his father also. I wish someone who know more about this faith could give us some insight. Due to Thomas Wallin being born in Mass. I know that he was a Puritan as no other religion was allowed in New England during that time. Was this why our Thomas left MA. and went to Rhode Island and New Jersey? I have been researching lately about one Nehemiah Abbot who was a grandson to our Daniel Abbot and his being accused of being a witch during the Salem Witch Trials. Did our Wallins and other families leave the area and become part of a group that started the Methodist faith? Or was it already started and they went to join it. One thing is for sure they left because the Puritan laws where unbearable. More later on Nehemiah Abbott Linda Sue --part1_117.1ad8b9.2854ecb2_boundary--
