They will be fixed ASAP. >> The only link that will ever work again is the query link. When you get to the message board go to advanced search and search by board type. I admin the Walker Boards and I will warn you that you will have to sign up with ancestry.com to post. I am not happy about it, but had no say-so in the matter. Don't write Bill. He can do nothing about it. If you are worried about any postings you have made. Go to the messafe board, type in your name. It should bring up all the messages you have ever posted to Genconnect and/or Myfamily.com. We will no longer be able to edit the posts, for example change the email address. I understand you will be able to do that yourselves. If you put an URL (link) in your original message it is not working at this time. Donna

    2. That is correct, since Ancestry bought Rootsweb, it now has acquired the GenWeb project and it was a membership databank, so I believe that it will now include all the main links - I have belonged to Ancestry since it started - delilah evans At 15:13 6/22/01 EDT, you wrote: >In a message dated 6/22/01 2:51:01 PM Eastern Daylight Time, >[email protected] writes: > ><< Actually there is one set that is not at the moment. 3. yes but it was also done with assurance that what was on rootsweb would remain free. Also what was place in USGenWeb archives was supposed to be hosted by rootsweb not owned by rootsweb! I am an ancestry member too but it is not a my organization right or wrong issue but what is fair. ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, June 22, 2001 5:52 PM Subject: Re: [GAWALKER] Good News Walker County Georgia That is correct, since Ancestry bought Rootsweb, it now has acquired the GenWeb project and it was a membership databank, so I believe that it will now include all the main links - I have belonged to Ancestry since it started - delilah evans At 15:13 6/22/01 EDT, you wrote: >In a message dated 6/22/01 2:51:01 PM Eastern Daylight Time, >[email protected] writes: > ><< Actually there is one set that is not at the moment.
