I had no problem accessing the site and have viewed it 2 or 3 times since Bill moved it. I have, though, often been unable to access RootsWeb sites in the past. This may be due to a lot of traffic at RootsWeb or, sometimes RootsWeb just seems to be off line. Although I enjoy RootsWeb and have visited the many pages and sites available through this wonderful site, I am often disappointed at being unable to access pages. My best advice is just to keep trying and you will get through to the site. It's worth the effort! Barbara [email protected]

I think Barbara is correct. Rootsweb does go down periodically due to maintenance which may be what some of you were experiencing. I hope everyone on the list got the message that the census(1900) and Marriage Indices are still in the process of being rebuilt.
