Judy, Check Whitfield County records as that is where Dalton is located. Parts of Walker County, GA was annexed in the 1800s and they are now parts of Whitfield, Dade, Catoosa and Chattooga and Murray Counties. Actually if my memory is correct, at one time all that area was part of Murray County so check there too. Linda Sue
