Linda Sue, yes you did send me an invitation. I was enjoying it greatly until I lost my bookmarks and couldn't find my way back to your site. But all is well now, I have found it again. Thanks. Could someone check the 1860 census for ALFRED WILLIAMS living in the Chatt Valley/Flintstone/Burnt Mill Rd. area. Could you check cemetery records also. He died in 1868(?) but think he is buried in an unmarked family cemetery. Thanks.
Duke, If you are referring to the Alfred Williams who married Matilida Hutson in Campbell Co TN (msy gr-gr-grandparents) they are on the 1860 census of Campbell Co. They moved to the Cenchat area (now Chattanooga Valley) sometime in the 1860's. He is died ca 1868/69 as Matilda was listed on the 1870 as married Sept 1869 to George W. Ellis.
