Sherry, There were no Haddox/Haddock listed in the surname index of THE WALKER COUNTY GEORGIA HERITAGE BOOK, 1833-1883. The closest was Hadden. I checked HISTORY OF WALKER COUNTY GEORGIA by James A Sartain.... only one listing on page 289 in a roster for World War vets [referring to WW I]: HADDOCK, Wallace C. That was all the information on him, just his name.
