    3. This Morning I informed you of a concern we all should have regarding protecting ourselves against BADTRANS worm, computer virus.. I would like to ask you now if you have any additional comments regarding the subject, you send them to me personally. KathleenBurnett@earthlink.net. Please do not post the names of those you feel you have received infected postings from or their e-mail address. If you received an infected posting from a member of any of the lists I take care of, most likely I did too and I am taking care of it behind the scenes. I thank you for your help with this and appreciate your support. Kathleen Burnett List Mom

    1. [GAWALKER] From List Mom Regarding BADTRANS Worm - Computer Virus
    2. Kathleen Burnett
    3. Dear List Members We are experiencing another outbreak of the BADTRANS worm, computer virus. I've received over 25 messages with it myself this weekend. The subject line will be varied but the infected attachments have a double extension, for example .doc.pif or .doc.scr You can go to http://www.antivirus.com/vinfo/ or http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/ to obtain more information. Please keep your anti virus software updated and DO NOT download unexpected attachments no matter who they are from or how tantalizing the subject line may be. "The Docs I Promised" just may be the virus. I apologize for breaking my own rule regarding Virus Warnings, but felt in this case it was important that you were aware. Kathleen Burnett List Mom

    3. Deborah, If I am not badly mistaken the Macedonia Cemetery is at the church I mentioned in an earlier post. If you are coming from Whitfield County on Hwy. 201 make a left at the stop sign at Hwy 136 and the church and cemetery are on the left about a quarter of a mile, maybe. If you are coming from Lafayette on Hwy 136 the church and cemetery are on the left about a quarter of a mile from the Villanow Country Store. 3. Only one of the two was transcribed on the website and that one had several graves but only one marker. For those of you who don't know where the website is: http://www.rootsweb.com/~gawalker/ then scroll down into Walker County Resources and Select Cemetery names and again scroll down and check the Cemetery you are interested in. What we have is what we have at the moment until someone wants to transcribe more. It is a fairly tough task just doing one cemetery. 3. Deborah, The USGS lists several cemeteries as being located at Villanow. They are: Cavendar Friendship Goodson Macedonia Phillips(2) There are two separate listings at different Map Coordinates Puryear White Interestingly if you bring up the information on each of these cemeteries they have no variant name except for one of them. The variant name for Macedonia Cemetery is Villanow Cemetery. It is located at 344023N 0850639W That is of course degrees/minutes/seconds latitude and longitude. Someone with a hand held GPS receiver should be able to locate the coordinates.
