I am seeking the descendants of Solomon REAVES and Alice Alto SPEER. Solomon died between 1891 and 1900 probably in Orange Co., FL. Alice and the children are on the 1900 Census in Walker Co. I have no idea how or why she went from Orange Co. to Walker Co. - quite a distance - and after arrival she uses the spelling of Reeves vs Reaves. Alice died 5 Mar 1930 in Russelville, Waker Co., Ga. Apparently one child died before 1900 and the surviving children were: 1. Bonnie Lee REEVES 1875-1959 Catoosa Co., GA m Margaret GORDY 1877-1957 Catoosa Co., GA - they had one child, Irene who never married 2. Erskine REEVES b July 1879 - no further information 3. Pallie REEVES 1880-1932 Hamilton, TN m Samuel Fred WOODS cr 1889-1854 Hamilton Co., TN a. Ernest Roy WOODS b. George S. WOODS c. Harry W. WOODS d. Para Lee Alton WOODS e. Jessie Mae WOODS f. Florence WOODS g. Eunice WOODS 4. Iona REEVES b. Mar 1884 - no further information 5. Eva REEVES b. May 1881 - no further information Solomon was the 8th of 14 children of Florida Pioneer Rawlins Lowndes Reaves and I would like to complete my research of his descendants. If anyone has any information, it will be appreciated. Leslie Jeffcoat Maddocks in Florida
