    3. Deborah, There is not an article in the WALKER COUNTY GEORGIA HERITAGE BOOK, 1833-1983 on the Hedricks/Headricks. However, the name is listed in other articles. 1) Andrew Jackson Hunsucker.... "Nancy Catherine Hunsucker, born December 9, 1850 in Walker County, died December 17, 1890. She married Rev. Henry DeKalb Gilbert, December 23, 1869. He was the son of Arthur and Msary HEDRICK Gilbert of Murray Co GA...." 2) William Cicero Greene... "William Cicero Greene, oldest son of James Rufus and Ever Jane HEADRICK Greene then living midway Naomi and Catlett, was born March 26, 1878." 3)John Grigsby... "John Grigsby ws the fourth child and the oldest son of James Grigsby and Lydia HEADRICK. His father James was born 7 July 1804 in Tennessee and his mother was born 4 March 1805 in South Carolina and they were married 1 July 1824 in McMinn County Tennessee and they were among the early settlers of West Armuchee Valley in Waslker County." The above article was submitted by David Grigsby who lives in that area. 4) Lowry... "Wash" [George Washington Lowry] married a Miss Mills and had four daughters: Florence married Jack HEADRICK..." That is all. If you would like complete articles for any of the above, let me know and I'll try to get them to you. 3. Linda Sue, I have two email addresses... either one should work. This one >[email protected]< or >[email protected]< My Campbell line was from Marion Co TN and I think (just can't prove it) it goes back into Grundy Co TN. My gr-gr-grandfather was James Campbell and he is buried in Lassatter Cemetery (Marion Co). My mother was from Grundy Co and my dad from Walker Co. If any of your Campbell goes back to Marion and Grundy, I'll be glad to share whatever info I have. The Campbells and Watleys (both Marion Co) and the Rawlings in Walker Co have been brick walls for me. 3. The book I have was written by Mattie Lorraine ADAMS of Duluth, GA. and published in 1973 by Claxton Printing Company. I do not know if it is still available, but was told that it is in the Walker County Library. (Would someone let me know if this is true?) I had originally thought it had just a few references to Walker County but have found a small goldmine of info. If any of you tie to this line, you will really want to try to find the book. You can tell it was written with love and enthusiasm and is pretty easy to follow. Many family letters and photos are included in the book. I did not anticipate this response and hope I have been able to help some of you. Bonnie

    3. I have a book on the descendents of Daniel and Rachel DAVIS. I have not connected it to my line at all - yet. It is not indexed and lookups are pretty much impossible since every single page has many, many Davis names on it. I got an inquiry from Kathy who DOES have Lucinda Elizabeth Davis name in her family. Still haven't run across it in the book, but will continue looking and let you know. For those who have asked, this Daniel and Rachel MARTIN DAVIS were married November 1, 1808 in South Carolina. It does not show the proven parentage of Daniel, but it shows Rachel's line as: 1) Sir Ludovic GRANT - Mary (Cherokee of full blood) 2) Mary GRANT - William EMORY 3) Susannah EMORY - John Joseph MARTIN 4) Rachel MARTIN - Daniel DAVIS The book lists Daniel and Rachel's children with spouses as follows: 1) Martin DAVIS - Julia Anna TATE 2) William DAVIS 3) John DAVIS - Jane Saphronia TATE (I believe they also settled in Walker County) 4) Delilah 'Biddie' DAVIS 5) Lorenzo Dow DAVIS 6) Coleman J. 'Doc' DAVIS - Eliza HUFF 7) Jeter Lynch DAVIS 8) Joseph C. DAVIS - Malissa Elizabeth STALLINGS 9) Earl Elias DAVIS - Amanda BROWN 10) Amanda Jane DAVIS Martin and Julia's children were: 1) Jane DAVIS - William C. PATTON 2) Rachel DAVIS - George Washington HILL 3) Mary DAVIS - James Orvall HALL 4) John DAVIS - Ruth HALL 5) Teresa Lane DAVIS - William E. LITTLE 6) Martin DAVIS John and Jane's children were: 1) Georgia Anan DAVIS - Ezekial Jackson DUNAGAN 2) Samuel Tate DAVIS - Lucinda Starr and also Bella WOFFORD 3) Susannah DAVIS - Taylor CONNALLY 4) Daniel DAVIS - Gabrilla DAVIS 5) Cicero DAVIS - Sidney WHISENHUNT 6) Julia A. DAVIS 7) Maude DAVIS 8) John DAVIS - Bessie SATTERWHITE 9) Jane Splint DAVIS - Clark Barker GARMANY 10) Robert Lee DAVIS - Ruth PHILLIPS and Hester Mae CURRIE Bonnie ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kay blanton" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, March 18, 2001 11:11 PM Subject: Re: [GAWALKER] Lucinda DAVIS & Joshua FREDERICK > Hello > I see you have a Lucinda Elizabeth Davis b. in > Chattanooga, TN. > I am interested in this name as it also is in my Davis > line. > Would Lucinda be the daughter of Hiram and Lucinda > Davis.
