My aunt married a George Moore from Chambers county, ala. and he said that he had a distant relative who was related to My GGM Lucinda Moore Neely and he is the one who said he thought she may have had a brother. They were old when I was a child. My mother was born in 1899 and she was 40 when I was born. So, yes, probably are cousins. My GGM Lucinda had a daughter named Josephine Neely, when the Yankees came an old servant helped them escape across the Coosa River into I believe Alabama, Mr. Neely was dead by then from the war. In 1867 she married a Jeff Kellum and had William Kellum. She was a very educated woman and jeff kellum ran away and left her, fleeing to texas, she earned her money as a school teacher. So yes, we may be related somehow. By the way, did you go to high school in Atlanta. Your name sure sounds familiar. Take care. Kathy
