Hello all: I am new to the list and wanted to post the following names that I am researching: MATTHEW ALLEN and the ALLEN + THOMPSON + WOOTEN/WOOTTEN families in residence there at the 1820 census and through 1860. In addition, I am planning a research trip to the County next week and would greatly appreciate and advice and help. I will be checking the older records from about 1810-1900, looking for marriages, deeds, and hoping to find burial records.
