Sorry about your Dad, Kathy. This is a sad time for his family and many friends, I am sure. There will be a gathering of some of your kin who are linked in various ways through the McDaniel or Black ancestry from Upson and Talbot Counties, GA. That is certainly true of the McEachern-Black links. This year the McDaniel and Related Families Reunion will be in Senoia, Coweta Co., GA, Saturday, June 12, 2004, at the Senoia United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. We'll gather around 11:00 a.m. for lunch and visits and stay until all of the food has been eaten, stories told, pictures shared and more taken. You may recall that my parents home, nearby, was the set for the Threadgood Family home in the 1992 movie, "Fried Green Tomatoes." We are planning to hold the reunion alternately between Upson Co. and metro Atlanta to give folks more travel options. This year we're back in metro Atlanta. Do stay in touch. Barbara
