Funeral Held For Ed Storey Here Wednesday Final rites were held Wednesday for Edgar B. "Ed" Storey, 62, who died at his residence on Avenue L Tuesday. Mr. Storey, a city employee who has been serving as sexton of the cemeteries and parks, died following an illness of long duration. Services were conducted by Rev. Thomas Dews with Rev. Herbert Morgan assisting, from the First Presbyterian Church Wednesday at 3:30pm. Internment was in Southview Cemetery. Mr. Storey was a native of Upson County and had spent his lifetime here. He was a member of Olive Camp 109, Woodmen of the World. He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Fallin Storey, three daughters, Mrs. Roy DeLoach of Atlanta; Mrs. Ted McSwain of Savannah and Mrs. J.D. Rickman of Macon and one son Charles Edward Storey, U.S. Air Force, Warner Robins. In addition, survivors include five brothers, Marvin Storey, Thomaston; Ivey Storey, Lynn Haven Fla; Travis, Lloyd and J.W. Storey all of Columbus and one sister, Mrs. Mike Carpenter of Winder. Mr. Storey is also survived by four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Coggins-Trice Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
