Mr. Z. T. Smith Dead Mr. Z. T. Smith died ay his home near Roland in Upson County Monday, June 26, 1916. Mr. Smith was 68 years of age having been born in Talbot County July 7, 1848. The deceased was a Confederate was a Confederate Veteran. He joined Company "E". First Georgia Regiment in May 1864. He was captured by Wilson's Raiders in April 1865 and was afterwards paroled. To the relatives of the deceased the people of the county, extend sympathy.
