The GAUPSON List has always been a very congenial one, and we've worked as a team. As I'm sure you all know by now, e-mail can sometimes be misunderstood and hard feelings can arise. While I like to have a very open list, I also think we should be sensitive to everyone's feelings. If you take offense at someone's message, and feel that there needs to be a response, would you please write ME (as List Manager).....and let me handle it. OR if you feel you simply MUST express your views to the individual, please do so in a personal e-mail NOT on the GAUPSON list. I feel that I have always been an attentive List Manager....and that I have tried to respond to all e-mails that you send to me. So I'm asking that you trust me enough to abide by my wishes in this matter. I want to know when you feel someone is out of line in their notes....but I also want to be the one to make the appropriate response to the individual. During this month of September this team work (and especially Lisa Graham) has provided us with a substantial amount of information through these "old obits". How we WISH the person making the scrapbook had penciled in the dates ---but I am just very, very grateful that she took the time to clip them out and save them. We appreciate so much those of you who have responded to Lisa and I with some other facts that we can add to the obit. We're finding out burials that should be listed in some of the cemeteries as well! As I had stated early in the month, please send any questions you have to me and NOT to Lisa. She has enough to do just typing up the obits! You're a wonderful group of people, and I feel we are really getting lots of puzzle pieces this month---so let's keep working together to get them in their proper places!
