You had me right down to the bottom of you message - I agreed with what you had to say, then you decided to get nasty. So I will point out that you could have saved getting the email questions if you had been a little smarter when you started and announced ahead of time 1) what you were doing - in other words, told people that they were going to be bombarded with a large number of obituaries 2) that you do not have the source nor the dates for most of the obituaries, so they should not look for or expect them. Some people will undoubtedly come into this very long list of obits without any idea of what is going on - and they will wonder why anyone is being stupid enough to send out unsourced, undated, obituaries. They may very well have what seems to them very reasonable questions. Get down off of your high horse - I am sure that many people will appreciate your efforts - and I think that it is a good use of the list to make this kind of information available in the list archives for others to search later. I don't know of anyone who asked you to give up family time to perform this task, however, so I do find it a bore that you choose to complain about the time that you are spending doing them. And I am offended when you start calling people with questions stupid. If you don't want responses to your postings, I recommend that you quit posting. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, September 28, 2002 8:23 PM Subject: [GAUPSON-L] Obits & Dates > The obits & newspaper articles that I am sending in are not dated.
