My Upson County Historical Society newsletter arrived today. It is always a delight to read. Penny Cliff wrote a marvelous story of Eliza Reviere Adams which she had shared with a group of school children. Her purpose was to show how many records are available in the Archives to tell a story and to help them understand the life of an ordinary Upson County resident during the Civil War era. Zachariah H. Gordon's story continues. This has been in the past few issues, and will conclude next month. The UHS appeals to all of us to share any photographs you might have of Upson County and its residents.
