    3. I'd like to work with any Hightower Researchers.... that might help us with a better understanding of: After J "Capt Billie" Hightower married V Andrews in 1857, they acquired this plot of land and established a plantation on Chemollie Reserve until 1870. I believe this is James William Flournoy Hightower...and his grandfather, James Hightower was one of the first settlers.....being in the area before Upson County was formed. The original Hightower land was on Tobler Creek.... perhaps this was next to the Chemollie Reserve?? Does anyone know about this? We're continuing to work on the Chemollie Indian Reserve, and hoped to pin point some deeds for the sale of the land to J.W. Hightower. If anyone is ever able to visit the Thomaston Archives in person, perhaps you could keep in mind our interest in this land, and see if there is anything on file there regarding it. Thanks....
