To the best of my mother's recollection her birth name was "Mozelle Missouri Camp" although it may well be "Kemp". She is listed as "Mozelle Kemp" in the 1920 LaGrange, Georgia census as a laborer in the cotton mill, age 20. We believe that she was born in 1898 and died in Thomaston, Georgia in 1924. She is buried in the Glenwood Cemetery in Thomaston next to her husband, my grandfather, James Robert Daniel. She was James Daniel's first wife -- his second being Milford Self. James R. Daniel also hailed from LaGrange, GA and is also listed on the 1920 census for LaGrange being 16 years of age. My mother was Mozelle and James' first child. Mom was born in Anderson, SC as Mary Louise Daniel in 1922. They moved back to Thomaston in either 1922 or 1923 where another daughter was born who died in the first month of infancy. This daughter is also buried in Lot #8 of the Glenwood Ce! metery next to Mozelle under an un-named headstone -- however, her name was Lydia Pearl. I am just starting my search on my mother's maternal line and any help that anyone in Georgia can give would be most appreciated. I have found that the "Mozelle Kemp" listed on the 1920 LaGrange census was noted to have been born in Alabama. If anyone is familiar with the Glenwood Cemetery or can locate any information about Mozelle my thanks to you! With very best regards, Annie
